Mark Rayner, Senior Analyst, is based in London and joined the firm in 2006. Mr. Rayner works closely with Portfolio Managers Chuck Royce, Whitney George, and David Nadel in the management of Royce International Smaller-Companies Fund and Royce International Value Fund.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Rayner was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at DE Capital Management LLP, England. In addition, he has extensive experience in researching European smaller companies at the London offices of various brokerage firms, including Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns. From 1996 to 2002 Mark worked at Citigroup, London, where he was Managing Director and Head of European smaller-companies research. At Citigroup, Mr. Rayner led the top-rated European research team for four consecutive years, according to The Thomson Reuters Survey. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BA from Sussex University, England in Economics and German.
