W. Whitney George is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Royce & Associates, LLC, investment adviser to The Royce Funds.

Mr. George manages Royce Low-Priced Stock and Global Value Funds, as well as Royce Focus Trust, a closed-end portfolio, and Royce Capital Fund - Micro-Cap Portfolio. He also co-manages Royce Micro-Cap Fund with Jenifer Taylor, Royce Premier Fund with Charles Royce, Royce Value Fund with Jay Kaplan, Royce Global Select Fund with David Nadel and Royce Technology Value Fund with Dana Serman. In addition, he serves as Assistant Portfolio Manager of Royce Value Plus Fund. He has 27 years of investment industry experience.

Prior to joining Royce & Associates in 1991, Mr. George held positions with Dominick & Dominick, Inc., WR Lazard & Laidlaw, Inc., Laidlaw, Adams & Peck and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. He is a graduate of Trinity College.
