A measure of the volatility, or systematic risk, of a security or a portfolio in comparison to the market as a whole. A low beta means that a fund's market-related volatility has been low.

A performance gauge used in both up phases (upside capture ratio) and down phases (downside capture), it is a statistical measure of a portfolio’s overall performance in up and down markets. The upside capture ratio is used to evaluate how well a portfolio performed relative to an index during periods when that index has risen, and the downside capture ratio is used to evaluate how well a portfolio performed relative to an index during periods when that index has declined.

Standard deviation is a statistical measure within which a fund's total returns have varied over time. The greater the standard deviation, the greater a fund's volatility.

The Sharpe Ratio is calculated for a specified period by dividing a fund's annualized excess returns by its annualized standard deviation. The higher the Sharpe Ratio, the better the fund's historical risk-adjusted performance.

Active Share
The sum of the absolute values of the different weightings of each holding in the Fund versus the each holding in the benchmark, divided by two.

Ex-Date:
On this date, a fund’s NAV decreases by the amount of the total distribution (in addition to any market movement that would change the fund’s closing NAV).

Examines and ranks the historical returns, volatility, downside risk, and risk-adjusted returns of funds over monthly rolling five-year return periods.

Provides insight into the composition of a fund’s return over quarterly, annual, and multi-year periods broken down by sector, industry, and security. Results are presented on both an absolute basis and relative to the fund’s benchmark index.
