      On December 14, 2011, Royce Dividend Value Fund assistant portfolio manager, Frank Gannon, was a guest on the Business News Network's "The Street" program.

      The words "dividends" and "small-cap" are not often heard together in one sentence, but as Frank Gannon contends, "There are a lot of high quality companies across a multitude of industries within the small-cap space that pay dividends."

      Gannon goes on to note that the market is always voting against a company or an industry so as contrarian investors, Royce is constantly finding opportunities. Gannon currently sees value in technology and industrials.

      Francis D. Gannon is a Portfolio Manager and Principal for Royce & Associates. Mr. Gannon serves as assistant portfolio manager for Royce Dividend Value Fund.
