Royce European Smaller-Companies Fund
Royce Global Select Fund
Royce Global Value Fund
OnWallStreet's May 2011 cover story, "Global Fund Leaders Rack Up Big Gains," written by Elizabeth Wine, featured David Nadel, Portfolio Manager and Director of International Research.
The article highlights how Royce invests internationally with Nadel discussing topics like energy, asset management, precious metals and industrials.
Says Nadel, "We're attracted to the parts of the economy producing things in finite supply," such as natural resources. "Metals, oil, rubber, copper, palm oil, all are shooting up in price because it takes more and more dollars to buy them."
Three Royce Funds were noted specifically in the article: Royce European Smaller Companies Fund [RISCX] which Nadel Co-Manages with Chuck Royce, Royce Global Value Fund [RIVFX] which he Co-Manages with Whitney George, and Royce Global Select Fund [RSFTX], for which David Nadel is Portfolio Manager and Whitney George is Assistant Portfolio Manager.

Royce Global Value Fund and Royce Global Select Fund may invest a significant portion of its assets in foreign companies, and Royce European Smaller Companies Fund invests primarily in companies that are located in Europe. Securities of foreign companies may be subject to different risks than investments in securities of U.S. companies, including adverse political, social, economic or other developments that are unique to a particular country or region (Please see "Investing in Foreign Securities" in the prospectus). Therefore, the prices of the securities of international companies in particular countries or regions may, at times, move in a different direction than those of the securities of U.S. companies (Please see "Primary Risks for Fund Investors" in the prospectus). The Fund invests primarily in micro-cap, small-cap and/or mid-cap stocks, which may involve considerably more risk than investing in larger-cap stocks (Please see "Primary Risks for Fund Investors" in the prospectus). The Fund also invests primarily in a limited number of stocks, which may involve considerably more risk than a less concentrated portfolio because a decline in the value of any one of these stocks would cause the Fund's overall value to decline to a greater degree (Please see "Primary Risks for Fund Investors" in the prospectus).
