Assistant Portfolio Manager Frank Gannon was a recent guest on CNBC's Power Lunch. He spoke about the Japan and Middle East crises and how they might affect small-cap companies.
"This is not the global yard sale we saw at the end of 2008, beginning of 2009. Our investment process right now is tending to find companies that are down because of earnings, when they report their earnings or because of a negative article in the papers over the weekend. It's been a normalized environment, stock by stock in this environment, not full industries anymore," said Gannon.
