Jay Kaplan, Co-Manager of Royce Dividend Value Fund, was a guest on Fox Business News' "Countdown to the Closing Bell" with Liz Claman on June 7, 2012.

Jay prefers to focus on the fundamentals of high-quality small-cap companies instead of headline-generating news. He expresses his view that, "Today, high-quality small-cap companies are less expensive than high quality large-cap companies."

Jay Kaplan manages Royce Total Return Fund (with Chuck Royce), Royce Value Fund (with Whitney George), Royce Dividend Value Fund (with Chuck Royce), and Royce Capital Fund - Small-Cap Portfolio. He also serves as an assistant portfolio manager for Royce Pennsylvania Mutual Fund.
