      2009 Estimated Year-End Distributions — Open-End Funds

      (Per Share) as of December 1, 2009

      Below are the preliminary year-end distribution estimates (per share) for Royce's Open-End Funds.

      Estimates are subject to change
      Please note that these estimates were prepared using the latest income estimates and capital gain amounts through December 1, 2009. However, because these distributions are estimated and will be based in part on the number of shares outstanding at the time the distributions are declared, these estimates may change.

      Royce Value Trust, Royce Micro-Cap Trust and Royce Focus Trust currently expect to make no year-end distribution on their respective Common Stock. Distributions paid in the first quarter of 2009 will be allocated to net investment income and return of capital after 12/31/09.

      Important Dates

      Royce Open-End Funds (See below for Royce Select Fund dates)
      Record Date: 12/08/09
      Payable/Reinvest Date: 12/09/09
      NAV Ex-Date: 12/09/09

      Final year-end distributions will be payable on December 9, 2009 to shareholders of record as of December 8, 2009.  Distributions will be paid to all Fund shareholders who own shares on the record date, regardless of how long they have held the shares.

      Royce Select Fund I, Royce Select Fund II, Royce Global Select Fund, Royce SMid-Cap Select Fund and Royce Asia-Pacific Select Fund
      Record Date: 12/15/09
      Payable/Reinvest Date: 12/16/09
      NAV Ex-Date: 12/16/09

      Final year-end distributions will be payable on December 16, 2009 to shareholders of record as of December 15, 2009.  Distributions will be paid to all Fund shareholders who own shares on the record date, regardless of how long they have held the shares.

      There will be no distributions for the Royce Capital Funds in 2009.
