      2008 Estimated Year-End Distributions — Open-End Funds*

      Below are the preliminary year-end distribution estimates (per share) for Royce's Open-End Funds.

      Please note that these estimates were prepared using the latest income estimates and capital gain amounts through December 3, 2008. However, because these distributions will be based in part on the number of shares outstanding at the time the distributions are declared, these estimates may change.

      Important Dates

      Royce Open-End Funds (See below for Royce Select and Royce Capital Fund dates)
      Record Date: 12/08/08
      Payable/Reinvest Date: 12/09/08
      NAV Ex-Date: 12/09/08

      Final year-end distributions will be payable on December 9, 2008 to shareholders of record as of December 8, 2008.  Distributions will be paid to all Fund shareholders who own shares on the record date, regardless of how long they have held the shares.
