Royce Value Fund
Royce Value Fund was featured in Karin Anderson's November 15, 2011 Morningstar Quicktake Report. According to Anderson, investors looking for exposure to small-cap and mid-cap stocks in one portfolio should find Royce Value Fund especially intriguing.
Anderson notes that the fund's emphasis on financially stable firms helped cushion the fund during the market downturn between late 2007 and early 2009. Royce Value Fund invests primarily in companies with stock market capitalizations between $500 million and $5 billion.
Whitney George and Jay Kaplan co-manage Royce Value Fund, and Lauren Romeo serves as an assistant portfolio manager.
