      Morningstar: Royce Total Return Fund's Low-Risk Design Has Delivered During Down Markets

      Royce Total Return Fund

      Morningstar's Karin Anderson wrote a QuickTake report on Royce Total Return Fund on July 26, 2011 in which she notes that the Fund focuses on micro- and small-cap stocks with high quality balance sheets, high returns on capital, earnings stability, the ability to pay dividends.       Noting the Fund's relatively low volatility, Anderson says that Royce Total Return Fund is "best suited to investors who are looking for a smoother ride in this asset class."

      Chuck Royce and Jay Kaplan are the Fund's Portfolio Managers. George Necakov and Chris Flynn are Assistant Portfolio Managers.
