Investment Class Shares
Investment Class Shares are offered directly by The Royce Funds without sales charges or commissions. Investment minimums may vary depending on the Fund, as shown below.
- No front-end or back-end sales charges/loads apply.
- A redemption fee of 1.00% applies to shares held for less than 180 days. The redemption fee is 2.00% for Royce Select Fund I & II, Royce Global Select Fund and Royce SMid-Cap Select Fund for shares held less than 365 days.

Service Class Shares
Service Class Shares are offered without sales charges. The minimum initial investment is $2,000 for a regular account, $1,000 for an IRA.
- No front-end or back-end sales charges/loads apply.
- An annual 0.25% distribution (12b-1) fee applies.
- A redemption fee of 1.00% applies to shares held for less than 180 days. The redemption fee is 2.00% for Royce European Smaller Companies Fund, Royce International Smaller-Companies Fund and Royce Global Value Fund.

Consultant Class Shares
Consultant Class Shares are generally offered only through certain broker-dealers. The minimum initial investment is $2,000 for a regular account, $1,000 for an IRA.

- An annual 1.00% distribution (12b-1) fee applies.
- A 1.00% contingent deferred sales charge ("CDSC") is assessed on new purchases of Consultant Class shares held for less than 365 days.

The Institutional Class Shares are designed primarily for investment by or through retirement plans, foundations, endowments and similar institutions. The minimum initial investment is $1,000,000.
