    2. Royce Special Equity Multi-Cap Fund (RSM) seeks long-term growth of capital by using an intensive value approach that attempts to combine classic value analysis, the identification of good businesses and accounting cynicism. Although the Fund has no market cap restrictions, Royce expects that a significant portion of its assets may be invested in mid-cap and large-cap companies with market capitalizations of more than $5 billion. The Fund may also invest up to 25% of its net assets in foreign securities. We believe that investors in the Fund should have a long-term investment horizon of at least three years.
